Fees
Students enrolling at the UNSW@ADFA may be liable for a tuition fees. In addition, students may be liable for materials charges and, where rules are infringed, penalty fees. These fees and how they may be paid are outlined in detail on the myUNSW website .
Defence-funded Students Tuition Fees
Under the Agreement between the Commonwealth and the University of New South Wales, enrolments are limited to 200 postgraduate coursework and 50 research Effective Full Time Student Load (EFTSL).
Applications for postgraduate enrolment under Civil Schooling Schemes and Tier 1 of Studybank will be given priority allocation of funded study assistance and will be automatically deducted from the EFTSL allocation. Applications for postgraduate enrolment under DASS and Tier 2 and 3 of Studybank will be prioritised by DASS and Studybank managers according to the following principles:
- Continuing successful students to be priorities over commencing students;
- Priority to first postgraduate qualification;
- Preference given to study related to the ADO.
All students, including those currently enrolled in UNSW@ADFA postgraduate programs and those applying for admission to UNSW@ADFA postgraduate programs, must submit an application to ET&D DASS/Studybank Managers if they wish to be considered for a Defence-funded place. The deadlines for DASS/Studybank applications are 1 November for Semester 1 and 30 April for Semester 2.
Prospective students who are not currently enrolled in a UNSW@ADFA
postgraduate program are reminded that they must also lodge an UNSW@ADFA
Application for Admission via the web portal "Apply Online"
https://apply.unsw.edu.au. This
application will be assessed independently of the application for a
Defence-funded place. The deadlines for UNSW@ADFA applications
are 20 January for Semester 1 and 20 June for Semester
2.
